New survey finds shockingly high rate of side effects
Both unvaccinated and vaccinated respondents observed significant side effects due to the covid-19 vaccines in their social circles
A new peer-reviewed article was just published today showing that rate of covid-19 vaccine side effects may be shockingly high, supporting the results of previous surveys.
The author conducted a survey of 2840 participants, of which 51% of respondents reported being vaccinated. While the vaccination rate may seem low, it must be noted that participants completed the survey between December 18 and 23, 2021. At that time, the “fully vaccinated” rate in the United States was only around 63%.
What stands out from the survey is that 27% of the unvaccinated participants knew someone in their social circle[1] who had a significant health problem after they received the vaccine.
Perhaps pro-covid-19 vaccine proponents would attribute that high rate to a potential bias held by the unvaccinated.
However, even among the vaccinated participants only, 15% knew someone in their social circle who had a significant health problem after they received the vaccine.
This 15% rate may still sound high to the vaccine proponents.
But among the vaccinated participants themselves, 13% reported experiencing a severe health issue after the vaccine (see table 2).
Regarding vaccine deaths, “fifty-seven people indicated that among the people they knew who had experienced a vaccine adverse event, the person they knew best had died.”
Participants were also asked to describe the post vaccination health condition of the person they knew who had an adverse event.
Here is a selection of the descriptions (formatted for readability, see “Additional file 3” in the article for the Word document original):
The descriptions are now familiar to those who have been following the studies regarding covid-19 side effects. As this participant data was collected in December 2021, we’re able to see the themes that have persisted since the introduction of the covid-19 vaccines:
Heart issues
Blood clots
Reduced effect tolerance (Dr. Charles Hoffe in a video from 2021 reported on patients in his medical practice "that cannot exert themselves the way they used to be, what medically we called reduced effort tolerance...people who not get out of breath doing things that they could previously do without any problem")
Bell’s palsy, menstrual cycle disruptions, dizziness, skin issues, and many others
We can compare the side effect rates of this survey with more recent work.
In December 2022, one year after the survey from Skidmore, Rasmussen Reports polled 1,000 Americans. The poll found that 34% had minor side effects, and 7% had a major side effect.
In October 2022, data was released from the CDC’s V-safe, a voluntary program to monitor adverse reactions. The data showed that of the 10.1 million users, 7.7% of people who received the covid-19 vaccines had to seek professional medical care.
In June 2022, a U.S. survey funded by Steve Kirsch and conducted by the market research company Pollfish, found that 16.3% of respondents who took the covid-19 vaccine experienced an injury, and 9.7% of respondents who took the vaccine needed medical help for their vaccine injury.
There are also multiple articles concerning abnormal menstruation in women after the covid-19 vaccines, which show how the rate of side effects can be extremely high.
In one December 2021 survey of UK residents, 20% of women experienced menstrual disturbances following covid-19 vaccination.
Another survey conducted in mid-2021, now published as a peer-reviewed article, found among postmenopausal women who were not on any hormonal treatments, 66% reported breakthrough bleeding.
Similarly, this peer-reviewed article by Italian researchers found in their survey that “50-60% of reproductive-age women who received the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine reported menstrual cycle irregularities, regardless of the type of administered vaccine.” With the second dose, the occurrence of abnormal menstruation actually increased to (60-70%). (A survey from the Norwegian Institute of Public Health also found that heavier periods increased after the second dose compared to the first).
We see from the surveys on abnormal menstruation post vaccination that the rate of side effects can be quite high. The other earlier cited rates of covid-19 side effects are certainly plausible in light of those numbers.
Returning to the article by Skidmore, an estimate using the survey data and ratios of vaccine deaths to covid-19 deaths suggests that the number of fatalities due to covid-19 vaccines may be as high as 278,000. The details on this calculation are found in the section “Comparing serious adverse events between publicly available data and the survey.”
Although the extrapolations to the total number of fatalities may be questioned by those who think the number is much higher or lower, Skidmore’s article serves as another sign that the rate of covid-19 side effects is extremely high and that the covid-19 vaccines are an unprecedently risky medical product.
Here is a summary of the side effect rates mentioned in this substack post:
(Thank you to Dr. Benoit’s substack for first bringing up this article)
[1] Social circles were defined as “family, friends, church, work colleagues, social networks” (see question 22 in “Additional file 1” of the article).
Terrific writeup. one aspect that may get missed by vaccine critics is that "vaccine hesitancy" is here explained in quantified fashion, i.e. so-called "antivaxxers" were often such due to observation of the effects of vaccines on friends and family.
I'd like to give you a preemptive "Congratulations" on a good article that earned the mention of Steve Kirsch (who mentioned this article).

I say "preemptive" because I haven't yet fully read each word, but a quick glance shows that it's well-structured and pulls in supportive data.
I'll have to come back later and give this article the time it deserves.
